Мне было двенадцать лет, брату шестнадцать, когда он после седьмого класса пошел работать на завод. И вот мы решили с ним устроить маме праздник на день рождения, в такие же чудные дни, как и сейчас.

4 октября, в день его кончины, вспоминаем митрополита Вениамина (Федченкова; 1880–1961) – выдающегося иерарха Русской Православной Церкви и замечательного духовного писателя.

«В комнату льется солнце. Широкая золотая полоса… По таким полосам от Бога спускаются с неба Ангелы…» 4 октября (21 сентября ст.ст.) родился автор этих строк – Иван Шмелев.

28 мая 2015 года в Зале церковных соборов кафедрального соборного Храма Христа Спасителя в Москве были названы лауреаты Патриаршей литературной премии имени святых равноапостольных Кирилла и Мефодия: прозаики Юрий Бондарев и Александр Сегень и поэт Юрий Кублановский.

Помните летний скандал, когда руководить чисто светским памятником — музеем «Херсонес Таврический» — был послан не археолог-профессионал, а настоятель тамошнего собора? Тогда дружные протесты в обществе и прессе привели к отмене явно ошибочного решения губернатора Севастополя и переходу объекта в федеральное подчинение. Светскость победила, и есть основания полагать, что это к лучшему.

Доблестный воин и мудрый правитель, дипломат и миротворец. А вместе с тем - глубоко верующий, благочестивый и набожный человек. Таким был Смоленский и Ярославский князь Феодор Ростиславич.

It is a grave error for Christians to tie their survival to the survival of a regime that protects them or to a foreign intervention that will defend them. The most dangerous thing is for Christians to abandon their mission and their witness, which can be summed up as bearing the cross, for the sake of their survival. Therefore, Christians must hold fast to faith, hope, love and patience until these black days have passed. As for Christianity, it will not disappear so long as Christians want that it does not disappear.

Мошти Светог Краља Стефана Првовенчаног, потоњег Преподобног Симона Монаха, први пут су од 1919. године изнете из манастира Студеница и са благословом и молитвама Његовог Преосвештенства Епископа Жичког г. Јустина, свечано су пренете 29. септембра 2015. године у манастир Жича.

У панчевачкој касарни „Растко Немањић“ литургијским сабрањем и свечаношћу обележен je Дан Специјалне бригаде - 29. септембар. Молитве Господу за све нас и посебно на Дан Специјалне бригаде за оне који нас бране и чувају додирнуле су срца свих у касарни посвећеној Растку Немањићу.

У Војној академији у Београду будући војни свештеници завршили су са одличним успехом оспособљавање на курсу за официре верске службе. Уверења за успешно завршену обуку уручио им је начелник Војне академије генерал-мајор Горан Зековић.
