В село в начале 90-х Евгений Зиновьевич приехал жить не по своей воле – сердце стало побаливать. Всю жизнь трудился декоратором на киностудии, делал всякую утварь для фильмов – мастеровитый был человек, творческий. А как на пенсию вышел, то «прописали врачи» деревенскую жизнь – мол, палкой-копалкой в земле ковыряться полезнее.
