Rally for release of Syrian Hierarchs takes place in Paris

Paris, June 4, 2013

On June 2, a rally took place in Paris. On the Trocadero's Square, also known as the Protection of human rights Square, Christians demanded the release of two kidnapped Syrian Hierarchs, reports Sedmitza.ru with reference to Archeveche Orthodoxe Antiochien d’Europe.

On April 24, in the province of Aleppo militants kidnapped Metropolitan Paul (Yazigi) of Aleppo from the Orthodox Church of Antioch and Bishop Mark Gregory Johanna Ibrahim from the Syriac Church. There is no information on their whereabouts so far.
