The contest is seeking images from Great Lent, Holy week, Palm Sunday, Easter, Ascension and Pentecost.
Orthphoto is a unique project and website which involves both professional photographers and amateurs who want to share their photographs representing the beauty of the Orthodox Christian faith around the world. The site contains over 60,000 photographs from 70 countries – from Brazil to China, from Russia to Uganda. The website attracts more than 1,300 people from over 100 countries each day, and now exists in 10 language versions.
The Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (I.A.O.) is an interparliamentary body, set up upon the initiative of the Hellenic Parliament.
Parliamentary delegations from Member Parliaments of the organisation participate, namely: Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, the Federation of Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia and Ukraine, as well as, groups of Members of Parliaments from: Australia, Asia, Africa and the U.S.A.
