Abbot Ephraim
The
Greek Church news agencies Romphea and
Amen have reported that Abbot Ephraim of the
Athonite Monastery of Vatopedi will have to appear
before the court again in the exchange of monastic
possessions on the lake Vistonida case that has been
dragging on for many years. The ruling of the Council
of members of the court of appeals requires Abbot
Ephraim and 13 other individuals to appear before the
ternary court of appeals in criminal cases on charges
of activities that caused damage to the state property.
