Archimandrite Keladion the Hagiotaphite Departs This Life

The News Gate of the Jerusalem Patriarchate has reported that Archimandrite Keladion reposed early on the morning of the October 14/27. Fr. Keladion, a member of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre (a Hagiotaphite), passed away at his residence in the Patriarchate following a four-month illness and hospitalization.

Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem celebrated a Trisagion for the repose of the soul of Fr. Keladion towards the end of the Divine Liturgy at the monastic church of Sts. Constantine and Helen, upon hearing of his repose.

The Patriarch also officiated his funeral on Wednesday October 15/28 in the same church of Sts. Constantine and Helen, offering a eulogy in his honor and in memory of all his labors as a hagiotaphite father.

May the Lord grant rest to his soul in the land of the living with the righteous and the just.
