Brooklyn Cathedral Commemorates Anniversary of Saint
Choral music wafted across the ornate St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral Friday evening. The choir of priests, in black cassocks, sang in English and sometimes Arabic. The faithful traveled from north and south, as far as Canada and Texas, to attend the vesper prayers. They stood at the pews and sang along.
