Georgian King Davit the Builder Among Top Three Military Generals of All Time

The US online portal Thetoptens.com, where internet users can create ratings on various topics, has published the list of top ten military generals of all time. The list is comprised of users’ votes and comments. As for now, the second place is occupied by Georgian medieval king, Davit IV the Builder (Davit Aghmashenebeli). Alexander the Great is leading the pack, although the list is not final and you can change the rating by submitting a comment. Here is what comments say about the great Georgian king:

“In 1121 he, with his army of 55.000 men won against seljuks. Their army composed of 600.000 soldiers. The battle of Didgori is often regarded as battle of "miraculous victory". He managed to begin the Golden Age of Georgia, which lasted almost 2 centuries. That's why he is called Saint King David the Builder!
