His
Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia,
in his letter to His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of
Serbia, Archbishop of Pec and Metropolitan of
Belgrade and Karlovcy, greeted him on the occasion of
Baptismal Glory, the day when the memory of the
patron saint of a family is celebrated.
‘Your Holiness, Beloved Brother and Concelebrator at the Altar of God,
I warmly greet you on the occasion of the Day of Baptismal Glory.
May the Lord Jesus Christ, true God and the eternal life (1 Jn. 5:20), send Your Holiness grace-giving reinforcement of your physical and spiritual resources, daring in your prayer for the flock and His all-powerful help in your primatial ministry.
Using this opportunity, I again assure Your Holiness of our Church’s invariable solidarity with the suffering Serbian brothers in the Kosovo region. May Merciful God give consolation to the hearts of all those who suffer.
With brotherly love in Christ,
+ Kirill
Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia
