On August 14-16, 2015, hundreds of faithful from near and far were welcomed by Mother Gabriella and the Sisterhood of the Dormition of the Mother of God Monastery, Rives Junction, MI, for the community’s annual pilgrimage. His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon and His Eminence, Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Episcopate led the faithful in a full cycle of liturgical services, which included the festal Vigil and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, the celebration of the Akathistos Hymn to the Holy Theotokos and the Sacrament of Holy Unction with the anointing of all pilgrims, and other services. A Memorial also was celebrated at the grave of Archimandrite Roman [Braga], who is interred in the monastery cemetery.
