St. Basil the Great Foundation collects 100 tons of aid for the Ukrainian refugees

Moscow, July 23, 2014

The St. Basil the Great Charitable Foundation – the coordinator of rendering humanitarian aid to the population of south-eastern Ukraine – is to send 100 tons of humanitarian aid to the Rostov region for Ukrainian refugees. The consignment was collected at mobile centers for aid collection in Moscow organized by the Foundation as well as a number of public organizations, reports the Foundation’s website.

The humanitarian aid that has been collected to date (100 tons), will be sent to the Rostov region within the next few days. It will be placed in the warehouses of the enterprises with which the Foundation has reached the appropriate agreements. Here, the humanitarian aid will be sent to the Ukrainian refugees in the Rostov region. A part of the consignment will also be delivered to the south-eastern Ukraine, provided that the Kiev authorities open the humanitarian corridor.
