The Palestinian people “are striving on behalf of all nations in the entire world aiming to reinforce principles of justice, rights and freedom,”Felesteen newspaper reported the Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus in Athens saying yesterday.
During a visit made by the Palestinian Authority (PA) Ambassador to Athens Marwan Toubassi, Seraphim reiterated the right of the Palestinians to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital based on international resolutions.
Seraphim hoped that a “limit is put to the conflict in the region, the Israeli occupation is ended, the Palestinian identity is protected and peace and justice prevail.”
Toubassi discussed the developments in the Palestinian issue with Seraphim. They also discussed the crimes of the Israeli occupation and settlers, as well as the violations against Palestinian property and holy sites.
They also discussed the judaisation being carried out by the Israeli occupation against the holy city of Jerusalem, which aims to change its Islamic and Christian identity.
